Overview

CVP is seeing a Cyber Security Manager to join our growing team. This Cyber Security Maager will be leading a team providing SOC and security engineering support. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Managing a 9-5 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment.
  • Responsible for leading and coaching a number of people within the team.
  • Procedure creation and continuous improvement
  • To provide support to ISSO and System Owner in supporting ATO requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 7 years of related experience
  • 4 years of experience working within an IT/IP network-based environment.
  • Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes and can apply these to incidents investigations and management.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications
  • Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of IP networks and their key components
  • Ability to apply non-standard processes to incidents and investigations.
  • Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers and Switch configurations applied to security frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SEIM systems, Splunk, Tenable and other security suites
  • Knowledge of Service Now
  • Familiarity with AWS Gov/Com Cloud Environments
  • Experience with Security Audits and US Government security controls, NIST and STIG requirements or controls
  • Familiarity with ISO Security Standards, FedRAMP
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational security environment
  • CompTia Network+, Security+, CSA+ and/or CEH or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working in a customer facing environment.
  • Experience leading and coaching a team of technology professionals.
